200 years at Helsinki's service

Salmo trutta truttaMytilopsis leucophaeata that drives out other species. Until now it was only found the cooling water of Finnish nuclear power stations.


By the end of the day the experts have found 938 animal and plant species. Among them are species typical to the region such as the Northern bat (Eptesicus nilssonii), as well as unexpected ones such as the Eurasian siskin (Carduelis spinus) or the clasping-leaf pondweed (Potamogeton perfoliatus)
